I can't believe I almost gave a good review, but honestly, the missing towels and shampoo were just inexcusable. The room was overpriced, considering I clearly thought I was exempt from that ridiculous resort fee. Why wasn't I treated like royalty? Seems like no special treatment here. Truly sad, I expected more like everyone must know my name!

great service , but some minor room issues
The really good breakfast offered a diverse selection including salmon, meats, and fresh fruits, beautifully presented. I particularly enjoyed the spacious King Room with a Garden View, where the comfortable bed. The outdoor hot tub provided a relaxing retreat with a lovely ambiance, improved with the fine garden views that elevate the experience.
The rooms felt a bit dated, which could use a modern touch.

The modest size of the hotel and the peace and quiet.
The room on the 3rd floor at the front of the hotel (driveway) was a little warm even with the ac unit on all the time on high.

The air conditioning was not adequate..Room 323....Advance signage for the hotel on 141 and other hwys would make locating the hotel easier for people unfamiliar with the area.

The place was quaint and had nice and pleasant staff who were focused on customer service, liked the stay. It had great and gorgeous location, so close to a beautiful lake, the hill in the Muskoka chairs and the beach. It also was in the Muskoka area.
Didn't like the area, it was really loud.

Spent a fun weekend with friends soaking in the beautiful views and enjoying the outdoor hot tub. The food was on point, especially dinner. We also checked out a nearby championship golf course and had a blast. Definitely a great spot for a relaxing getaway with good company!
One downside was the noise levels, especially during events like weddings. Our group's evening was somewhat disrupted by loud music and voices from a celebration below us, a bit disappointing.

It was just a good match for a trip in Windermere with good value for cost. The lunch we had was nice, but the chicken pate was frozen solid, so they offered a discount instead. Make sure to check restaurant hours before your stay.
